Get A White Vinyl Fence

Too many homeless campgrounds or tiny house villages are fenced in with a chain-link fence. It is an affordable way to get up and running but leaves little privacy for the participants in the program. Participants feel much like animals at the zoo with the public watching them. Also, a chain-link fence doesn’t create eye appeal for the neighborhood around the facility.

We found a nice white vinyl fence that serves multiple purposes.

1. It helps the participants feel secure and safe. People can’t see in to spy on them. Their temporary home feels more like a haven.

2. It helps the homes and businesses around the facility feel the facility is a benefit and an attractive asset to the community.

3. It helps donors feel good about giving to a quality program.

4. A vinyl fence requires much less maintenance cost over time.

The extra expense of a good quality fence is well worth it.

Chad McComas

Chad McComas is the founder of Rogue Retreat which created a homeless program with multiple levels taking people off the streets and empowering them to become self-sufficient. At its height, Rogue Retreat was providing housing for over 500 individuals a night. Rogue Retreat’s secret sauce was a five-level coaching program that led participants from being in crisis to thriving. Rogue Retreat’s success attracted leaders from communities, counties, universities, and States to come to visit. Chad also founded Set Free Ministries which has become one of Medford’s largest community services program that serves hundreds of homeless and working poor individuals each week with food boxes, hot meals, clothing, showers, laundry, and more.
